Meet Our Support Staff


Cindy Smith,  Veterinary Technician

Cindy started working for Pet Medical in February 2016.  After raising her two young boys she has decided to re-enter the work she loves.  Cindy has several years of previous experience working at another clinic.  She is a farm gal from the Spanish Fork and Santaquin area and she and her family love the outdoors; camping, fishing 4-wheeling and snowmobiling.  Being raised on the farm she loves all animals.  Cindy and her family have two family dogs, a Yorkshire named Lilly and a Yellow Lab named Harley. We're glad to have her as part of our team.


Jennie Ehlers, Veterinary Technician & Receptionist

Jennifer joined our team in the Spring of 2015.  She has previous experience at another veterinarian clinic in Sanday.  She graduate in 2013 from Broadview University with a Vet Tech degree.  Jennifer has two children, ages 14 and 8, as well four pets, 2 cats and 2 dogs.  Jennifer's love of animals goes beyond just loving them as all her pets have been rescued from adverse situations.  She has a 4 year old and 9 month old cats, as well as a 2 year old German Shepherd and 7 year old American Pit Bull Terrier.  Her passion and hobby is horses and being with her kids.


Hannah HooseVeterinary Technician & Receptionist

Hannah joined our team in May 2017.  She is currently attending Brigham Young University specializing in pre-vet courses.  She plans to attend a veterinary school when she graduates from BYU.  Hannah is from California where is volunteered at a couple of veterinary clinics. She completed her Florida, Fort Lauderdale Mission in April of this year. She speaks, reads and writes Spanish. Hannah loves running and participate in triathalons.


Candice Hunt,  Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

Candice joined our team in November 2017.  Candice is taking classes from Penn Foster as a Veterinary Technician.  She has a sweet smile and also loves to play with her kids and her pets at home.  Her family loves to go camping and be outdoors.


Brandon Young,  Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

Brandon is from Wyoming and is currently a student at BYU majoring in Biology.  Brandon joined our team on April 30th.  He is wanting to go to veterinary school after he graduates.  He was raised on a ranch, loves animals of all sizes and types.  He and his wife have two pets, a one year old Australian Shepard mix named Sadie and a six year old horse named Shadow.


Alec Ely,  Receptionist

Alec joined our team in August 2018.  He has always enjoyed being around all animal species and his grandfather was also a veterinarian.  He said he loved to hang out at his grandpa's clinic and see all the people and their pets. He likes hiking, podcasting and playing video games. He has a long-haired miniature dachshund named Eleanor along with multiple terrariums with insects and spiders!  Alec will be a fun person to help you with your pets' interests at heart.


Melissa Eging, Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

Melissa joined our team in November 2017.  She is currently attending BYU with emphasis in Biology.


Emma Lomey,  Kennel Worker


Siera Briggs, Receptionist & Veterinary Technician

Siera has a great enthusiasm for helping pets, especially with training.  She has her own dog training camp too!  She is currently in school at UVU.


Emma Johnson, Kennel Worker

Emma joined our team in August 2018.  She has always had a passion for helping and working with animals.  She is currently going to school to become a pet groomer which has been a life-long dream.  For the past 5 years, she has been breeding and raising Miniature Rex rabbits for show.  She has multiple pets at home including two dogs, two cats, three chickens, a Bearded Dragon named Nigel, and a Leopard Gecko!  In her spare time she enjoys camping, hiking and discovering new places outdoors.  She'll love to be with your pets when they stay with us.
